Q: My game volume is too loud or too quiet, is it possible to lower or raise the volume level of the sound in the game?
A: Yes! Every arcade cabinet has a volume control knob. Not
all cabinents are designed the same, but in most cases you can easily
find the volume control knob after opening the front Coin Operation
door.
Q: The game is not responding to the joystick position or when a push button is pressed. Can this problem be fixed?
A: This is a symptom of a malfunction within the cabinet. This is
usually a sign of broken wiring or hardware failure. The best
option is to have a trained service technician to fix the problem.
Q: When I turn on the game, the marquee light no longer works. A:
This is mostly likely due to a broken light. The arcade
cabinet either has an incadescent lamp or a flurecent tube. To
replace the broken light bulb there should be two brackets holding the
marquee in place. One on top and one on the bottom.
Carefully unscrew the two brackets holding the marquee and glass in
place and remove the glass. Now you can replace the broken light
bulb or flourecent bulb (NOTE: There may also be a started that needs
to be replaced as well). Reinstall the marquee and glass onto the
cabinet and screw
in the two brackets. The light should now work!
Q: When I turn on the game, there is no signs that it is running. There is no picture on the monitor and no sound.
A: This can be caused by a number of potential failures. In most
cases this is a failure of the power supply or the game PCB.
Since the game PCB is an electronic board that is sensative to ESD
(electro-static discharge), it is recommended to have a trained service
technician to fix the problem.
Q: When I turn on the game, there is no picture but I can hear sound(s) from the game as if it is working.
A: This is a symptom of an arcade monitor failure. Do not attempt
to repair this yourself as it contains HIGH VOLTAGE. It is HIGHLY
recommended to a have a trained service technician to fix the problem
for you. We have the expertese to fix this problem and can do
this for you by
